GSA will ask that you pay a deposit of £95 to secure your booking. The deposit will not be refundable after the final payment has been made. The outstanding balance of the Adventure Swim Break is due 10 weeks before the start. If the balance is not paid by the due date then unfortunately your booking will be treated as a cancellation. Please make a note of the due date as GSA do not send out reminders.
Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be made in writing. Following final payment, any cancellation made will be refunded according to the following scale:
Guernsey Swim Adventures is a very small locally run company, we therefore hope that you can appreciate the need for our refund policy.
Cancellation by Guernsey Swim Adventures
Unfortunately, if there is insufficient demand for the swim break GSA reserve the right to cancel and a full refund of the swim break will be given. However, GSA will endeavour to offer a different format as we understand that you will have booked travel and accommodation. If this is the case GSA will notify you 3 weeks before the swim starts and discuss tailormade options with you.
If GSA need to cancel the swim break due to extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, for example medical emergencies or extreme weather, we will refund a minimum of 75%.
GSA only recommend accommodation. Please discuss with the hotel their terms and conditions regarding booking and cancellation policies. Any changes that you make will be between you and the hotel. GSA will not be held responsible for any financial implications regarding accommodation.
GSA strongly recommend that you have sufficient travel insurance to cover any unexpected cancellations or medical treatment.
Guernsey does not currently have a reciprocal health agreement with the UK or Europe, as it is independent of the NHS.
All swimmers involved in GSA swims will need to complete a Participation Agreement for insurance and safety purposes. You will need to return this form with your deposit.
